Review of "Factfullness" : Let's change the frame of thinking

As I'll write as soon, as possible, I had gone on a trip to France and UK. In the flight I read a book, "Factfullness".  It was very well known as the book Bill Gates recommended. Also, it made a giant hurricane when it was firstly published. Someone praised, and another fiercely refuted. For me, the book was one of the best book in my life. This book is basically teaching "How to look the world right". In the below I'll write some reasons why I think this book is important.

The reason why this book is important is ultimately that "Our resources are limited". Though all people have human right -like right to be treated, to be educated, to be not violated-, as you know, in the real world, every person can't be ensured their human rights. So Many organizations like Unicef and Doctors Without Borders are struggling to ensure all people to enjoy their human rights. But they are not god or goddess. They can't care every people. So they have to make some choices -they should firstly look after more serious problem and postpone to care less serious problem-. This book is about, as I wrote above, "How to look the world right". Yeah, right. If you want to make choices correctly, then your world view should also be correct. Because if your world view isn't correct, you couldn't distinguish what is urgent and what is not urgent. We have to select what problem is urgent before invest our resources. By doing so we can help more people than we didn't that.

As you know this book is aggressively refuted. So someone may be hesitating to read this book. I want to tell you that "Just read it". Yeah, opinion of critics may be partially or all right. But most of them didn't touch the major claims "How to look the world right". Their critics are like "person can't live with 2 or 4 dollars per day!" or "What? Climate crisis is partially alleviating? No!". I also agree with their opinion, but it's also true that these claim can't attack to the major claim of the book.

Another reason why this book is important is, although it's an extension of first reason, that this book not only make our world view correctly, but also expand our world view. As the test of the preface, most of people living in developed countries don't know much about the real of developing countries -in other words, the biggest parts of the earth-, especially Africa(India and Southeast countries is a little bit known as closed with China). I think the noticiable example is China's BRI. BRI targeted countries that didn't get any attentions. Of course, China's intention wasn't pure. But regardless of right or wrong, their strategy is, at least in my view, pretty good. Although the some members are almost going bankrupt, in terms of Beijing, it's successful to expand their influence.
